WHAT WE DO
- RESEARCH & STUDIES: We conduct research and develop new and innovative policy ideas to eliminate systemic barriers and spur individual opportunity.
- COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: To focus our research, we gather feedback directly from the community about the most pressing issues they face. We also take our solutions to community leaders, media, elected officials, and directly to the people who drive the engine of Detroit.
- INDIVIDUAL RESOURCES: We serve as a resource center to help direct community members to other non-profit and service organizations that focus on financial literacy, skills training, family life counseling, and other services that build economic and individual prosperity.
- GOVERNMENT WATCHDOG & INVESTIGATION: Many of the issues in Detroit stem from poorly run government. To that end, we serve as a watchdog to keep government accountable, honest, and effective for the people it serves.
